Pricing Specialist

Role: Pricing Specialist - Ocean Freight Location: Solihull, West Midlands Salary: From £32k bonuses Work Pattern: Office Based, Mon - Fri 08:00am - 16:00pm / 09:00am - 17:00pm We are working with one of the largest privately owned international freight forwarding companies with multiple office across the country, who are actively on the lookout out for a Pricing Specialist specialising in Ocean Freight . This company has been established for over 35 years and are continuing to grow in the industry. Duties: Negotiate rates with carriers / hauliers / suppliers Prepare and submit customer quotations and proposals within agreed timeframe Work within our in-house system to create and issue quotations Communicate with customers to manage and follow up all quotes Adjusting pricing where possible to ensure we secure opportunities. Develop and build relationships and provide the highest level of customer service to all customers Skills: Strong analytical thinking skills Excellent attention to detail Proactive, team worker with excellent time management and organisation skills Able to cope and accustomed to working under pressure to meet fixed deadlines Strong numerical and commercial skills Industry and operational knowledge of Ocean freight - inbound, outbound, and cross trade If you have the right skillset/ experience and are ready to make the next move to join an industry leading company, then apply today!
