Job Title: HR Advisor Division: ISS Healthcare Location: University Hospital Coventry & Rugby St Cross Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent ISS is a leading global facilities management organisation, delivering exceptional cleaning, catering, security, logistics, and retail services across the healthcare sector. We are looking for a dedicated and people-focused HR Advisor to join our Healthcare Division, supporting our teams across University Hospital Coventry and Rugby St Cross. Purpose of the Role The HR Advisor will provide expert HR support and guidance to managers and employees, ensuring the consistent application of company policies, best practice, and employment law. You’ll play a key role in driving a positive and compliant workplace culture through proactive employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Provide expert HR advice to managers and employees on performance management, employee relations, and HR policies • Manage employee relations cases including investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes • Support the recruitment and onboarding process, including interviews and reference checks • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases • Support the development and rollout of HR policies and procedures • Deliver or coordinate training to enhance employee capability and engagement • Promote and support employee engagement initiatives across the division • Stay up to date with employment law and HR best practice to ensure compliance • Provide guidance on compensation and benefits administration Requirements • 1–2 years’ experience in a similar HR advisory role • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach • Strong organisational and administrative abilities with attention to detail • Working knowledge of employment law and HR policies • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) • HR qualification (or working towards CIPD) desirable • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and proactive HR professional to join a dynamic and supportive team within one of the UK’s largest facility services providers.
