Position : 9006104 Expected Start Date: To be Determined, Posted Until Filled Union: HSAS Facility: Bengough Health Centre City/Town: Bengough Department: Ambulance - Land Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.67 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends, Standby Hours of Work: 224 hours per 8 week-rotation Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Emergency Medical Technician $29.909 to $36.572 Travel Required: No Job Description: The Emergency Medical Technician-PCP is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergent calls for service, provide initial assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured persons. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP) Licenses Valid Class 4 driver's license Other Education and Training Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS) Pre-Hospital Care Program - Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Level Competencies Writing skills Interpersonal skills Verbal communication skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Ability to work independently Other Information Standard Hours Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level Bengough is located approximately 146 km south of Moose Jaw May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives For more information on the town of Bengough please visit https://bengough.com/
