Position : 074652 Union: HSAS Facility: La Ronge Health Centre City/Town: La Ronge Department: Dental Program Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 224 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: Yes Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Dental Therapist - Diploma Senior $32.624 to $39.875 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, the Senior Dental Therapist will provide prevention services, diagnostic treatment planning, restorative/operative dental treatment, community and preventive dentistry services. The incumbent specializes in stimulating, coordinating, and delivering oral health promotion activities aimed at reducing disease and promoting oral health for people in the community. Incumbents must have an ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams. The incumbent will plan, develop, organize, implement and evaluate the delivery of an active preventive oral health education and promotion program within the oral health professional's scope of practice. This position provides supervision, program management, and direction to the Oral Health Program.
