Mid-Senior Tax Associate (4 PQE) – Leading International Law Firm Are you a tax lawyer with 4 years’ PQE looking to join one of the most comprehensive and high-performing tax teams in the market? I’m recruiting on behalf of a top-tier international law firm seeking a talented mid-senior associate to join its London-based Tax practice. About the Team: This firm’s UK tax team is unique in its breadth and depth, with market-leading expertise across corporate tax, finance tax, real estate tax, funds tax, indirect tax, and tax litigation. The team advises some of the world’s largest and most complex businesses on headline-making transactions and disputes, with London serving as a key hub in a globally integrated network of tax specialists. The Role: You will: Advise on a wide range of UK and international tax matters, including M&A, corporate structuring, structured finance, leasing, real estate investment, fund formation, and non-bank investment Deliver bespoke tax advice on complex legal issues and policy matters Work closely with colleagues across corporate, finance, funds, capital markets, and real estate teams Act for a diverse client base including financial institutions, corporates, PE houses, governments, and industry bodies Lead and manage high-value, multi-jurisdictional transactions Develop client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives About You: England & Wales qualified solicitor with strong post-qualification experience in tax law, ideally gained at a leading City firm Excellent technical skills and a proven ability to deliver commercial, solutions-focused advice Strong drafting, analytical, and communication abilities Experience working on complex, cross-border matters Collaborative, intellectually curious, and motivated to grow within a high-performing team To Apply: For a confidential discussion, please contact James Cockerill at Taylor Root via jamescockerill@taylorroot.com or message directly on LinkedIn.
