Head of Systems Engineering

Opportunity for an experienced and driven Avionics / Systems Engineer to join an ambitious aerospace company specialising in UAV’s and Autonomous Systems Role: Leading the Avionics / Control Systems Engineering team, and the lifecycle of design from concept to delivery Manage the integration of new architectural system designs into existing systems/sub-systems Delivery of navigation, autopilot, sensors and safety systems Experience and working knowledge of PID Controllers, C++, ArduPilot, PX4, RS232 and RS485 Evaluation and integration of new emerging technologies Person: Comfortable working in fast-paced and agile environment Excellent communication and management skills Commitment to innovation, and passionate about technology Ideally, a proven background with UAV’s, although other autonomous vehicle experience will be considered If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply for the position, and we can arrange a time to discuss
