Electrical Field Engineer

Field Service Engineer – Electrical / Drives / Automation UK-wide travel | Permanent | We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer with a strong electrical background to join one of our leading clients in the industrial automation and power systems sector. What you’ll be doing: Installing, commissioning, maintaining, and servicing electrical equipment including VSDs, inverters, large drives, and PLC systems. Diagnosing and resolving electrical and control issues on client sites across the UK. Supporting upgrades, retrofits, and system improvements for industrial and process control systems. Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and client standards. What we’re looking for: HNC, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or equivalent). Hands-on experience with VSDs, inverters, large drives, and PLC-based control systems. Proven experience in installation, maintenance, and servicing of industrial electrical systems. Willingness to travel across the UK to customer sites.
