Incentives Lawyer

Job Location

City of London, United Kingdom

Job Description

Are you a lawyer with experience in employee incentives and benefits? Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join their growing employee incentives team in London. This is a permanent opportunity offering autonomy, exposure to high-quality work, and a clear path for career progression. Our client is renowned for its collaborative culture and innovative approach and has a strong presence across key sectors including Tech & Comms, Life Sciences, and Retail with the firm's clients ranging from high-growth start-ups to listed companies. In this role, you’ll focus exclusively on employee incentives and benefits matters. You’ll advise private companies on the design and implementation of management incentive schemes such as EMI options, growth shares, CSOPs, LTIPs, JSOPs, and employee benefit trusts. You’ll also support listed clients on executive and all-employee share plans, including tax and cross-border considerations. The position involves close collaboration with founders, boards, HR teams, and general counsel, offering a varied and intellectually stimulating workload. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with incentives matters, particularly within private company environments, and a commercial, solutions-focused mindset. My client is considering candidates between NQ and 5 years qualified. Newly qualified candidates will need to have gained exposure to employee incentives work during their training. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm that truly invests in its people. If you're looking to take the next step in your legal career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment, we encourage you to apply today.
