Computer Numerical Control Operator

Job Title: CNC Operator £18 - £23 per hour Contract We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for operating CNC milling machines to create high-precision components. This role requires experience with CAD files, machine programming, and an eye for quality. Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC milling machines to produce accurate components Read and interpret CAD drawings and Open Mind HyperCAD-S files Set up machines and complete offline programming as needed Perform routine maintenance to ensure machine performance Assemble parts and perform quality checks during production Handle and organise materials in the warehouse Work with the team to solve problems and improve processes Requirements: Previous experience as a CNC Operator or similar role Skilled in reading technical drawings and CAD software Experienced with machine setup and offline programming (Open Mind HyperCAD-S) Hands-on experience with DMG (Celos) and/or Hurco (WinMax) machines preferred Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions Able to work well both independently and in a team Willing to learn and adapt to new methods and tools This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in high-quality work and wants to grow with a professional and supportive team.
