Employee Relations Specialist Initial 6 month FTC (potential to extend) Hybrid working - 2 days per week in Warwick office - flexibility to travel UK-wide Salary Circa £58,000 per annum We’re looking for a skilled Employee Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team, providing professional, risk-based advice and guidance to managers across a wide range of complex ER cases. What You’ll Do As a trusted ER expert, you’ll: Provide specialist advice on cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, discrimination, and more. Coach and support line managers through formal processes, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes. Lead and manage complex hearings, including dismissals and ill-health retirements. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including legal advisors and trade unions. Champion best practice through training and capability-building sessions. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and policy reviews. What You’ll Bring Proven experience in managing complex ER cases with sound legal and commercial judgement. Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organisation. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge and drive change. In-depth knowledge of employment law and ACAS guidelines. Experience in early conciliation, settlement agreements, and employment tribunals. Resilience, adaptability, and a customer-focused mindset.
