Senior Electronics Test Engineer Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 Location: Essex Coast We’re working with a leading UK-based electronics manufacturer that designs and produces high-performance test and measurement systems used in aerospace, automotive, and advanced technology sectors. The company operates internationally and continues to invest in innovative product development and engineering excellence. The Senior Electronics Test Engineer will play a key role in ensuring new and existing products meet rigorous specifications and quality standards. This role involves leading complex test projects, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to product reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead testing of new and legacy products to the highest standards Run complex test projects and measurements, liaising with colleagues worldwide Develop C++ (or similar) applications for automated test systems Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues Support and mentor technicians and junior engineers as needed Ensure all test documentation is accurate and up-to-date Key Skills and Experience: Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Strong expertise in analog and digital electronics, circuit design, signal processing, and debugging Proficiency in programming with C++ (or similar) for automated testing Experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, logic analysers, and other test equipment Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Coaching, mentoring, and collaboration skills Adaptable, approachable, and flexible What’s on Offer: Competitive salary up to £50,000 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (option to buy/sell up to 10 days) Life insurance (4x salary) Corporate gym and spa membership Regular reviews and performance-related pay increases Wellbeing and mental health support programme Funded professional training and further education sponsorship Social events including summer festival and Christmas celebrations Opportunities for international collaboration and travel Interested?
