Pharmacy Specialist

Overview: We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independent community pharmacy based in Hersham. This busy and patient-focused pharmacy offers a wide range of NHS and private services, including travel health, vaccinations, and clinical consultations. They are now looking to expand their team with a qualified and experienced Pharmacy Dispenser who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: Dispense NHS and private prescriptions accurately and in line with legal and professional requirements. Support the pharmacist in the day-to-day running of the dispensary. Manage stock levels, including ordering and receiving deliveries. Provide excellent customer service and advice on over-the-counter (OTC) medicines where appropriate. Assist in the preparation and delivery of additional pharmacy services such as travel health, vaccinations, and minor ailment schemes. Maintain clear and accurate records in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure the dispensary is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Requirements: NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) – essential. Previous experience working in a community pharmacy setting – highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
