Insurance Lead Sector Architect London or UK-wide Hybrid Up to £115,000 Package We’re looking for a Lead Architect to shape technology strategy and transformation across the Insurance sector. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping major insurers reimagine their business and technology landscape — driving innovation through modern platforms, Cloud, Data and AI — and delivering architecture that enables speed, scale and resilience. What you’ll be doing Lead end-to-end architecture design for large-scale Insurance transformations. Shape digital platform strategies — from policy and claims modernisation to data-driven decisioning and customer experience. Partner with senior stakeholders across business and technology to align architecture to strategic objectives. Guide delivery teams to ensure design integrity, scalability and performance throughout the lifecycle. Foster innovation through Cloud, Data and AI to accelerate digital transformation in the sector. Experience required 10 years’ experience in solution or enterprise architecture within Insurance or Financial Services. Deep understanding of Insurance platforms (e.g. Guidewire, Duck Creek, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud). Proven record of defining North Star architectures and technology-enabled transformation roadmaps. Strong knowledge of Insurance regulation and compliance , including FCA Consumer Duty and Solvency UK. Architecture or delivery certifications (TOGAF, SAFe, cloud vendor accreditations) preferred.
