Senior Electrical Engineer – HV Substations & Grid Infrastructure - Contract Start: ASAP or within 4–6 weeks Duration: Initial 12 months Location: Remote UK with occasional site/client visits if required Rates: DOE, outside IR35 We’re supporting multiple large-scale HV infrastructure and renewable grid connection projects across the UK. We're looking to engage experienced Senior Electrical Engineers to take a lead role in design and delivery. Responsibilities: HV substation design (33kV to 275kV), including switchgear layouts, single-line diagrams, and protection systems Grid connection studies and interface with DNOs and TSOs HV cable routing, earthing, and insulation coordination Cross-discipline coordination with civils, structural and mechanical teams Participation in FEED, detailed design, and construction support phases Technical documentation, specifications, and peer design reviews If you’re an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer eager to work on challenging, high-impact infrastructure projects, please get in touch to discuss how this opportunity could align with your career goals.
