Design Engineer Dungannon £30,000 - £40,000 Were working with a well-established engineering firm in Co. Tyrone who are on the lookout for a practical, detail-focused person to join their team as a Design Engineer role. Its a hands-on position thatll see you turning customer requirements into workable designs, producing CAD layouts, and putting together accurate costings for both bespoke and standard projects. Youll be working alongside sales and production to make sure everythings designed properly, priced fairly, and runs smoothly through the workshop. Its ideal for someone with an engineering or fabrication background who enjoys problem-solving and seeing a project through from concept to completion. What youll be doing: Creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings for fabrication and assembly Preparing quotes and costings for a variety of jobs Working with production and sales to ensure designs are practical and efficient Updating and improving standard designs and pricing models Supporting continuous improvement within the design and estimating process What were looking for: Experience in a design, engineering, or manufacturing environment Confident using CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD Strong numerical and technical drawing skills Well-organised with good communication skills Comfortable managing multiple projects at once Nice to have: Knowledge of fabrication or agricultural equipment design What youll get: A secure, full-time role with a long-standing local business A friendly, no-nonsense team environment Varied and interesting projects Opportunities to develop and expand your skill set Competitive salary depending on experience Interested?
