Deputy Service Manager Dundonald, Northern Ireland 39 per week £42,000 - £45,000 About the role: Were looking for a hands on leader to support the Service Manager in running a residential care home for adults with learning disabilities. Youll help ensure that residents receive safe, compassionate, and person centred care, while supporting and developing your team. Key Responsibilities: Support the Service Manager in day-to-day operations and act up when required Supervise, mentor, and develop care staff Monitor resident care plans and ensure programmes meet physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs Assist with compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements (RQIA, NISCC) Maintain accurate records, assist with staff rotas, and support operational efficiency Who were looking for: Experience in residential care with supervisory or management experience Knowledge of person-centred care, safeguarding, and relevant regulations Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills Flexible and adaptable, willing to work evenings, weekends, and on-call Commitment to working within a Christian ethos Qualifications: NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Care or equivalent Desirable: professional qualification (RNMH, RGN, RSCN, Social Work, or NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care/Management) Registration with a professional regulatory body where required (NISCC/NMC) This is a chance to grow your leadership, make a real impact, and be part of a team that truly cares.
