QLM Search is partnering a specialist B2B and B2C ingredients/food group that is looking to appoint a Sales & Marketing Leader (number 1 Sales/Marketing position in the business unit) to support the divisions European MD. This a very broad position crossing both Sales and Marketing with more emphasis towards business development and is a key position supporting growth and development aligned to the businesses 3–5-year strategic vision. Key Responsibilities Manage new business development with targeted customers across the region Report and utilise available tools for metrics, target customers, strategic customer plans and focussed geographical plans Work with customers on associated promotional activities Have a clear understanding of the customer and competitor landscape Work closely with internal and external R&D teams for new products, launches and associated sales Candidates must have proven experience in Business Development, Marketing (branding experience is aligned) as well as a strong understanding of Data and analytical tools. You could come from a B2B Ingredients, Food, FMCG/CPG background incorporating Business Development, Marketing (or branding). You will be naturally resilient, be experienced in working across categories with multiple products. You need strong knowledge of category management strategies across product ranges with a track record of driving growth through effective implementation. You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse market trends and customer insights to identify new business opportunities through business development in the region.
