Design Architect

Paddington, London (Hybrid - 2 days WFH) | £38,000 - £43,000 Software: Revit, Adobe Suite, SketchUp Role Overview We’re working with a leading international design practice to find a Design Architect who’s passionate about high-quality, design-led architecture. Based in Central London , this is a brilliant opportunity to join a collaborative studio with an outstanding portfolio and a culture built around creativity, career growth, and sustainable design. You’ll be part of a fast-paced team working across exciting UK and international projects. With support from senior leadership, you’ll be encouraged to develop your own voice and take ownership across the early design and planning stages of a wide range of schemes. Key Responsibilities Lead feasibility studies, capacity assessments, and early-stage concept design Translate client briefs into creative, functional design proposals Present design thinking to clients and local planning authorities Collaborate across disciplines to ensure design intent is maintained Contribute to sustainability, reuse and low-impact design strategies Develop proposals in line with regulations, codes, and industry standards Prepare and manage project specifications, timelines and budgets Conduct site visits and contribute to project reporting when required Requirements ARB-registered Architect with strong concept design experience Excellent presentation, communication and client-facing skills Proficient in Adobe Suite , Photoshop , and SketchUp Revit experience a plus (but not essential) Confident working across multiple sectors and project types Strong eye for detail with a passion for sustainable design Eager to grow into a leadership role in a collaborative, inclusive team If you're interested, please email your CV and Portfolio to hana@bigblue.uk.com or reach out on 07777163225 for a quick chat.
