Role Summary: This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor (NQ–5 PQE) to join a well-established Private Law Children and Domestic Abuse team in Bath. You’ll deliver expert legal advice to clients, manage your own caseload under supervision, and play an active role in business development to enhance the firm’s reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities: • Manage a caseload of legal aid family matters, providing high-quality advice and advocacy to clients • Work closely with partners and senior solicitors to develop strong client relationships and grow your network • Deliver clear, commercially astute guidance and maintain excellent client communication throughout each case • Contribute to departmental business development initiatives and raise your personal and team profile • Ensure compliance with SRA principles, firm policies, and all risk management processes • Manage time recording, billing, and performance KPIs effectively Requirements: • Qualified Solicitor (NQ–5 PQE) • Experience in Private Law Children and Domestic Abuse matters • Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision • Strong client care and relationship management skills • Excellent organisation and prioritisation abilities If this role isn’t quite right, it’s still worth speaking to one of our specialist team — we may be working on something that hasn’t hit the market yet.
