Quantity Surveyor

Are you a detail-driven Quantity Surveyor with a passion for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget? At OCU , we’re looking for a skilled professional to join our team and play a key role in managing cost and contractual aspects across a range of exciting projects. There is plenty of opportunity for development and progression. This is an additional role within our team as part of our growth in Scotland. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates from drawings and specifications. Develop and manage detailed project budgets. Monitor and optimize project costs throughout the lifecycle Lead the tendering process and evaluate supplier bids. Resolve contractual issues during project delivery. Implement cost control measures and track expenditure. Identify risks and opportunities affecting profitability. Prepare interim and final payment valuations. Collaborate with teams to monitor and manage risk. What We’re Looking For Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field. Chartered (RICS/CICES) or working towards chartered status. Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and cost management. Proficient in QS software and Microsoft Office.
