Pharmacist

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our client’s well-established community pharmacy in Plymouth. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care, ensuring the safe and effective supply of medicines, and supporting the health and wellbeing of the local community. Key Responsibilities Dispense and check prescriptions accurately and efficiently in line with GPhC and NHS standards. Provide expert advice on the safe and effective use of medicines to patients and healthcare professionals. Deliver a range of NHS and private pharmacy services (e.g. flu vaccinations, NMS, CPCS, BP checks, etc.). Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy laws, ethics, and professional standards. Oversee and support the pharmacy team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Ensure compliance with all governance, SOPs, and health & safety requirements. Build strong relationships with patients, GPs, and other healthcare providers in the local community. Requirements MPharm degree (or equivalent) and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) . Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting (newly qualified pharmacists also welcome to apply). Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
