Mechanical Fitter

JOB – Mechanical Fitter LOCATION – East Grinstead TERM – Permanent SALARY – £30,000 to £40,000 per annum (plus benefits) My client is a specialist engineering company supplying bespoke machinery and mechanical systems. They are looking to take on a Mechanical Fitter to join their team in East Grinstead . The Mechanical Fitter will ideally have the following attributes: • Experience as a mechanical fitter in a manufacturing or engineering environment • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • Proficiency in assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Experience working with a range of tools and mechanical components • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement The Mechanical Fitter role will involve: • Assembling and fitting mechanical components and systems • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly • Installing, testing, and commissioning machinery and equipment • Carrying out maintenance and repairs as required • Liaising with engineers and production teams to resolve issues • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and salary expectations.
