Job Description
Our client is commercialising an innovative carbon-based anode material manufacturing process and is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to help take it from lab to large-scale production. In this role, you’ll be the vital link between R&D, manufacturing partners, and compliance teams — ensuring processes are efficient, safe, and production-ready . Key Responsibilities: Design, document, and optimise manufacturing processes for carbon-based anode materials Work with external partners to integrate technical knowledge into scale-up plans Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards Support scale-up from lab to pilot and full production, including equipment selection and process control Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality Contribute to facility layout and future process specifications About You: Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, etc 3 years’ experience in process development or scale-up within chemical, materials, or battery manufacturing Experience with carbon materials (activated carbon, graphite) is desirable Strong understanding of chemical processing, mass balance, and industrial safety Proven track record of working cross-functionally Excellent communication and problem-solving skills This is a rare opportunity to be part of a fast-growing industry and help shape the future of sustainable energy.
