About You: MRICS or similar professional chartership (CIOB, RICS, etc.) 5 years’ post-qualification Quantity Surveyor experience Strong pre- and post-contract experience (JCT & NEC) Proven experience on private sector projects Organised, proactive, with excellent time management UK resident with unrestricted right to work You’ll assess and manage the full commerciality of projects and deliver cost consultancy services for a variety of clients, projects and developments. You'll provide valued insight into the profitability and risks associated with existing and future client projects, whilst managing and overseeing all financial aspects of construction projects, from feasibility through to final account. Your responsibilities: Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the highest of standards. Establishing client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies. Preparing and analysing project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour, and time. Preparing tender and contract documents; negotiating contracts and work schedules. Contract administration including valuations, variations, and final accounts Providing cost analysis, advice, and reports to clients throughout the project lifecycle. Supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team.
