With a rapidly growing presence in aerospace, defence, and security, they work with public and private sector clients to solve complex engineering challenges. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a Safety Consultant to join their Aerospace, Defence, and Security division. Opportunity to lead safety-critical projects Opportunity to obtain SC level clearance THE SAFETY CONSULTANT ROLE: As a Safety Consultant , you’ll work on leading-edge aviation and defence safety projects, providing expert guidance on airworthiness, certification, and safety management. You'll play a key role in delivering safety assessments, managing risk, and assuring the safety of complex systems. Working with multidisciplinary teams, you'll contribute to safety reports, technical strategies, and assurance activities across exciting UK-wide programmes. SAFETY CONSULTANT ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Experience in safety-critical systems and defence sector projects Understanding of ASPIRE, Air Engineer’s Toolkit, and military aviation safety processes Expertise in tools such as Air System Loss Models, BowTies, or GSN/CAE Skilled in techniques like FHA, FTA, ETA, FMECA, or CBA Familiarity with standards such as Def Stan 00-056 Strong communication and report writing abilities Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline; Chartered or working towards chartership Ability to build relationships with clients and support business development TO BE CONSIDERED: Please either apply through this advert or email me directly via ryan.baker@searchability.com.
