Project Manager

Role- Project Manager Salary- £42,000 - £52,000 per annum Type- Permanent Location- Surrey My client designs, manufactures and services electro-mechanical products and they are looking to take on a Project Manager for a new projects team, on a permanent basis, in the Surrey area. The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes: BEng/ BSc qualification or similar in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering Approx. 4 or more years of experience in other Project Engineer / Project Manager roles in engineering and manufacturing environments Previous experience working in a product environment (mechanical, software, hardware, service etc.) Prince2, PMI or APM qualification would be desirable but not essential The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team Excellent proficiency working with MS Office Have excellent communication skills The Project Manager role will involve: Being involved in high-impact projects Being responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of these projects Always having a risk controlled approach Making sure they’re delivered on-time and in budget Driving continuous improvement Adhering to governance standards and frameworks Ensuring projects meet project plans Supporting with project planning Developing project documentation and also financial tracking If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
