This is not a maintenance role. This is a sales role with teeth. DSEs take charge of existing customer accounts, reignite stalled upgrade conversations, and close deals that bring customers onto the latest IFS platform. What DSEs do: Create urgency: explain the risks of staying on legacy — tech debt, cost, security, supportability. Build the value story: show CFOs and CIOs why upgrading now pays off. Engage the right people: from procurement to business leaders, mapping champions and blockers. Drive outcomes: protect renewals, expand accounts, and grow revenue. The ideal DSE: 'IFS is focused on people, not just backgrounds.
