Civil CAD Technician – Survey & Volume Analysis Specialist Location & Schedule Remote – Mexico Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST (occasional PST meetings) We’re seeking a Civil CAD Technician with strong in-office experience in Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center (TBC) . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical environment, working with raw survey data, creating layout files for field crews, and tracking volumes on large-scale civil projects. If you’ve moved beyond basic CAD usage and are confident in as-built survey reporting , quantity tracking using data shortcuts , and delta reporting to design , we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Perform as-built survey reporting using raw survey data Execute quantity tracking and volume calculations on large civil projects Create layout files and design files for field surveyors Utilize Civil 3D and TBC for advanced data management and analysis Collaborate with field teams to ensure accurate and timely data delivery ✅ Requirements 3 years of experience in Civil 3D and TBC in an office-based role Proven experience with volume tracking , data shortcuts , and delta reporting Strong understanding of survey workflows and design file creation Ability to interpret and process raw survey data for reporting and layout purposes Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for effective communication with international teams Compensation Payroll (MXN): $21,000 – $26,000 brutos law benefits Payroll: 12 vacation days, 15 days Christmas bonus, major medical insurance, life insurance, IMSS enrollment Direct Contractor (MXN): $26,000 – $33,000 netos benefits Direct Contractor: 12 vacation days, 15 days Christmas bonus, major medical insurance, accounting support
