Mechanical Design Engineer - Hands-On Role

Job Description Job Description ATS Cases is a long-established manufacturer of custom-engineered shipping and transport containers. We are now expanding into the aerospace shipping container industry, and we're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The Role is not a desk-only job. You'll be working directly with the owner of the company and will be heavily involved in the design, prototyping, and production of highly engineered cases. We're looking for someone who is just as comfortable on the shop floor as they are in CAD software. Responsibilites * Design and develop aerospace-grade shipping and transport containers * Collaborate directly with ownership to bring new product concepts to market * Work closely with production staff to translate designs into practical, manufacturable solutions * Get involved in hands-on prototyping, testing, and problem solving * Ensure designs meet customer requirements for performance, quality and compliance.
