Quality Electrical Inspector

Job Description Job Description Position Overview Detail-oriented Quality Electrical Inspector needed to ensure electrical products, components, and installations meet quality standards, electrical codes, and safety specifications. Key Responsibilities Inspect electrical components, assemblies, wiring, and installations for compliance with quality standards and codes Test electrical circuits, continuity, voltage, and resistance using specialized equipment Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records Identify and report electrical defects, non-conformances, and safety issues Verify effectiveness of corrective actions on electrical systems Collaborate with production, engineering, and electricians to resolve quality issues Ensure compliance with NEC, UL, and other relevant electrical standards Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical systems preferred 2 years of electrical inspection experience Proficiency with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, oscilloscopes) Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Electrician license or certification ASQ CQI certification Knowledge of ISO 9001, UL, or IEC standards Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Company Description About us: Express works with job seekers to help find the right job for their skills and experience.
