Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and skilled Solicitor to join a leading national team specialising in abuse and exploitation claims . This growing department represents survivors of child sexual exploitation (CSE), grooming, and institutional abuse , providing a voice to those seeking justice. You’ll manage a varied caseload, supporting clients through often complex and sensitive matters from start to finish. The role is ideally suited to someone with a genuine passion for advocacy and client care, who thrives in a values-driven environment. The firm offers flexible working arrangements , including hybrid or remote options, with regular in-person collaboration encouraged to support team cohesion and client engagement around the North West & North East. The Role Handle a caseload of civil abuse and exploitation claims , from instruction through to resolution Conduct thorough case investigations, gathering evidence, reviewing records, and engaging with experts Provide clear, empathetic legal advice and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout their case Collaborate with external professionals and agencies to strengthen cases and support clients holistically Attend meetings, conferences, and negotiations, ensuring all key developments are accurately recorded Maintain compliance with professional standards and internal processes, including financial management and reporting Contribute to departmental knowledge sharing and training initiatives About You We welcome applications from newly qualified through to experienced solicitors who share a commitment to delivering justice for survivors.
