Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Stafford, Staffordshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for progression. Shifts: • Five nights per week between Monday and Sunday • Start times between 18:00 and 21:00 Rates of Pay: • £18.00 per hour Benefits: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing, consistent work • Weekly pay • On-site canteen facilities • Full training provided • Immediate starts available • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: • Complete between 1–3 deliveries per night using pump trucks • Drive HGV Class 1 (CE) vehicles safely and efficiently between delivery points • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks • Ensure all loads are safely and securely fastened • Adhere to all UK traffic laws and transport regulations • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers • Report any vehicle faults or maintenance issues to management • Assist with loading and unloading as required Essential Skills: • Valid UK Category CE (Class 1) Driving Licence • Minimum 12 months' experience driving CE vehicles • Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six points for minor offences (no major endorsements) • Good level of spoken and written English • Excellent punctuality and reliability • Strong understanding of road safety and compliance requirements • Effective communication and teamwork skills Desirable Experience: • Previous experience with commercial driving • Experience in multi-drop deliveries Training Provided: • Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout employment Apply Today – Do Not Miss Out!
