Job Title: Class 1 Container Driver Location: Burgh le Marsh, Lincolnshire Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour Shifts: Immediate starts - Days available About the Role: Manpower are currently seeking experienced and professional Class 1 Container Drivers to support their growing transport operations from their site in Burgh le Marsh. This role involves the movement of containers as part of the company's internal and external logistics network. Key Responsibilities: Driving Class 1 HGV vehicles to transport containers between sites and distribution centres Ensuring container loads are secured and compliant with transport regulations Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery documentation Communicating with the transport office to report delays or issues Complying with all legal, safety, and company procedures Requirements: Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) driving licence Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card Previous container driving experience preferred Knowledge of container haulage and port/container yard procedures an advantage Strong work ethic and ability to follow routes and instructions precisely What We Offer: Hourly rate of £15.50 Immediate starts available Flexible shifts: Days and Nights Ongoing work with a reputable, family-run business Well-maintained modern fleet On-site parking and supportive transport team Occasional Nights out How to Apply: To apply, please send your CV and call 01472 361616 for more information.
