Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to work with a regional brickwork and Scaffolding subcontractor, on a full time, permanent basis in Waterlooville. In this role, you will be responsible for managing brickwork and scaffolding packages, from £300K to £1M, working alongside National house builders with all site based within a 30 mile radius. This is a rare opportunity for you to progress into a Senior position in a short space of time if you are committed! Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Duties: Being proficient with estimating & take off through blue beam or an equivalent system is a must. Managing client accounts, working with our buying department and developing yourself within our finance department will all be part of the role. Measurements and planning. Working from a schedule of rates and submitting quotes for approval. Organisation of labour and suppliers. Site visits and inspections across the South. Stakeholder management, maintaining excellent client relationships. Performance monitoring customer satisfaction, quality surveys. Variations, valuations and invoicing. Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Specification: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management would be desirable Experience with brickwork Full UK driving licence Commercial awareness In return, the company offers ongoing training, support and development, hybrid working with a strong and steady pipeline of work.
