Safety, Health & Environment Manager | Soham | £50,000 - £55,000 If you’re the kind of SHE leader who doesn’t just enforce the rules – but inspires people to believe in them – this one’s for you. We’re supporting a major food manufacturing business as they continue their journey toward safer, smarter, and more sustainable operations. As the site’s SHE Manager, you’ll take ownership of all things Safety, Health, and Environment across a busy food production environment, driving both compliance and culture change in equal measure. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking leadership team that genuinely values engagement, development, and long-term impact – not just box-ticking. This role gives you the autonomy to influence, educate, and lead from the front, embedding a proactive mindset that keeps people safe and protects the planet. Key Responsibilities Lead SHE strategy on site, promoting a strong safety culture across all teams Manage accident and incident investigations, implementing corrective and preventative actions Develop and deliver risk assessments including COSHH, DSEAR, Fire, and Workplace Transport Partner with site leaders to deliver effective training, audits, and engagement programmes Oversee environmental management – from waste reduction to energy and water efficiency Skills & Experience Required Proven SHE management experience within a manufacturing or similar operational environment NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma preferred or equivalent qualification Excellent communicator – confident engaging at all levels from shopfloor to leadership We’re shortlisting now, so please apply today!
