Field Service Garage Equipment Engineer - Small Tools Job Title: Field Service Garage Equipment Engineer - Small Tools Location: South West England (Worcester, Gloucester, Cheltenham) Who you'll be working for Our client is the UK's largest Garage Equipment Workshop Service & Spares Provider, part of a leading European group operating across manufacturing, distribution, and service sectors within the automotive aftermarket. Job Purpose As a key member of the UK's leading garage equipment service company, you will work independently from home, inspecting a wide range of garage tools and small equipment on customer sites. A fully equipped company van, tablet, mobile phone, PPE, and workwear will be provided to support your role. Main Responsibilities Inspect a variety of garage equipment including torque wrenches, portable lifting tools, air line gauges, and other small tools Accurately complete electronic reports in line with Quality System requirements Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations Maintain van stock to support First Time Fix targets Deliver excellent customer service Continuously develop technical skills to maintain high standards Be prepared for overnight stays Be available for overtime and occasional Saturday work as required Typical Skills & Experience Background in calibration and inspection, preferably garage equipment Ability to follow procedures and work to defined standards Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving Flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently Strong communication skills, with confidence in dealing with all levels Good understanding of UK road network and geography Full clean UK driving licence Benefits Fully equipped company vehicle, fuel card, tablet, and mobile phone Competitive Pension Scheme Life Assurance Employee Assistance Programme - Family cover 25 days holiday (26 after 5 years), plus bank holidays Premier Inn Card The Curve Group is a Recruitment Services and Human Resources business with a mission to transform the working lives of the people and organisations we work with.
