Front End Developer Inside IR35 Contract till end of 2025 with possible extensions Telford 2 days a week Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled Front End Developer with strong React expertise to join the teams programme. This role is central to delivering modern, scalable web applications within a UK Central Government environment, requiring both technical excellence and the ability to work within a secure, large-scale setting. This is a contract position running until the end of 2025, with a strong possibility of extension into mid-2026. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week on-site in Telford. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality front-end solutions using modern React frameworks, with a focus on Remix and React Router v7. Build and optimise applications for server-side rendering (SSR), ensuring performance, accessibility, and progressive enhancement. Develop user interfaces with the Material-UI (MUI) React component library. Write clean, robust, and scalable code in TypeScript. Ensure code quality and resilience with end-to-end testing (E2E) using Playwright. Work effectively in a Central Government delivery environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Essential Skills & ExperienceStrong commercial experience as a React Front End Developer. Proven expertise with Remix and/or React Router v7. Solid understanding of SSR and progressive enhancement principles. Hands-on experience with MUI React component library. Proficiency in TypeScript. Experience with Playwright or similar modern E2E frameworks. Previous Central Government / Public Sector project experience highly desirable.
