Job Description

Senior Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer – Hybrid (Essex, UK) An exciting opportunity for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join a growing semiconductor company developing innovative Analog and Mixed-Signal ASICs for next-generation communication and signal processing systems. You’ll take a hands-on role in the design, simulation, and verification of advanced Analog and Mixed-Signal sub-systems for sub-6GHz ICs , collaborating with multi-site teams to deliver high-performance, right-first-time silicon . Key Responsibilities: Design and develop Analog and Mixed-Signal IC blocks (Filters, PLLs, Bandgaps, Bias Circuits, Multiplexers, etc.) Work across SiGe and CMOS technologies using Cadence Virtuoso and industry-standard design tools Support ASIC characterisation and test plan development in partnership with global teams Produce detailed design documentation and contribute to design-for-manufacture improvements Requirements: Master’s or PhD in Electronic / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) 5 years’ experience in Analog IC Design or Mixed-Signal IC Design Expertise with Cadence Virtuoso , EM tools , and layout techniques Solid understanding of linearity, noise, mismatch, and stability Experience in SiGe Bipolar and CMOS semiconductor processes Strong problem-solving skills and an open, collaborative mindset Benefits & Package: Competitive salary (based on experience) Private healthcare, pension scheme, and life insurance Hybrid working from offices near Maldon, Essex – beautiful countryside setting with excellent facilities If you’re passionate about semiconductor innovation and want to advance your career in Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Design , we’d love to hear from you.
