Electronic Technician

The Role An established engineering business is seeking an Electronic Support Technician to join their expanding team. Key Responsibilities This role offers exposure to a wide variety of tasks across production and technical support. The successful candidate will: Work closely with the Production/Technical Lead to support day-to-day operations. Use internal systems to manage stock, track orders, and update production progress. Carry out checks on incoming components to confirm they meet quality standards, raising and resolving issues where needed. Prepare and organise parts for assembly work. Assist with the assembly and repair of equipment, following set procedures and guidelines. Support product testing and calibration, recording results accurately. Pack completed products to meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines. Maintain an organised, safe, and efficient work environment. Collaborate with colleagues across different departments to meet production targets The Candidate Hold a recognised qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent practical experience). Have previous hands-on experience in assembly, production, or technical support within a manufacturing environment. Be confident in using measurement tools and working to tight tolerances. Be able to interpret technical drawings and written instructions. Have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Be comfortable using hand tools and workshop equipment. Bring good IT skills, with prior use of ERP or MRP systems an advantage. Hold a full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential) The Package £25,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience).
