Civil Design Engineer

Are you a skilled Design Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions in the water and wastewater industry? We're working with a well-established engineering contractor to find a driven and detail-oriented individual to join their design team. Key Responsibilities Produce practical, constructible, and cost-effective design layouts in line with specifications and project requirements. Ensure standard practices and procedures are followed to promote consistency and efficiency. Contribute estimates and technical input for project proposals. Support continuous improvement by developing and reviewing departmental procedures. Coordinate designs across internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery. Incorporate environmental and health & safety considerations into all design work. Foster a customer-focused approach, supporting both external clients and internal departments. Essential Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes. HND in an engineering-related discipline (degree preferred). Proven ability to create rationalised and economical plant layouts. Analytical thinker with the ability to handle complex and varied technical data.
