About this role: Our client is a leading medication adherence company offering services to pharmacies in South Africa. The Key Account Manager will develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote solutions to pharmacies. Minimum Requirements: University degree in a related field. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Proven track record of at least 3 years in sales. Own car and valid drivers license. Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets. Strong sales and negotiation skills with a focus on building long-term relationships. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and proactively. Proficient in using virtual communication tools for remote collaboration. Key Accountabilities: Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers in pharmacies. Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively presenting our solutions, benefits, and value propositions. Travel extensively to visit pharmacy clients and potential clients. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with pharmacists, pharmacy owners, and key stakeholders. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and support for pharmacy clients. Demonstrate excellent communication skills. Provide regular reports on sales activities and related insights. Utilize data and feedback to improve sales strategies and approaches continuously.
