Take a look at our handbook to discover our core values and processes. The opportunity: We are looking to hire an experienced SRE to become a Services BU Lead with strong leadership capabilities. You will lead and organize the SRE practice in Agile Lab, managing multiple services with a focus on high-quality delivery. Salary: 45K - 67.5K Responsibilities: Analyze designs and implement complex infrastructures; Challenge team processes, seeking improvements; Communicate with self-awareness; Set direction for the delivery of multiple services; Identify strategic technical debt and provide cost/benefit analysis for its elimination; Understand the business landscape and stakeholder expectations; Lead recruiting efforts and capacity planning; Assist team members with delivery when needed; Produce quality metrics; Manage team members with diverse skill sets effectively. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science; Previous experience as an SRE Engineer (4-10 years); Good knowledge of Cloudera cluster management; Proficiency in programming languages such as Java/Scala, Bash, Python; Deep understanding of UNIX/Linux systems internals, TCP/IP networking, and security practices; Experience with at least one cloud provider among Azure, AWS, and GCP; Expertise in cloud-native technologies, IaC, Docker, and Kubernetes; Excellent communication skills; Proactive attitude; Team player mentality; Ability to troubleshoot complex networking, data, and software issues; Leadership qualities.
