Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 11/24/2025 Duration: 10 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapist I Location: Philadelphia, PA 10 weeks 5x8 Summary: Provides physical therapy services to pediatric patients at CHOP. Supports advancement of PT practice through education and collaboration with staff, families, and healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities: Perform patient examinations, evaluations, and develop care plans with supervision as needed. Deliver evidence-based interventions and family-centered education. Document thoroughly and identify adaptive equipment or orthotic needs. Monitor outcomes and adjust care plans appropriately. Participate in professional development, mentorship, and clinical education activities. Contribute to departmental learning through in-services and interdisciplinary collaboration. Requirements: Education: Master’s in Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s accepted if licensed before Dec 31, 2002). Licensure: Active Physical Therapy License in PA and/or NJ. Certifications: Current CPR (AHA or Red Cross, hands-on required).
