Job Title: Hybrid Tech Profession: Nursing Specialty: Nursing Administration Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 3 years of hybrid experience License: Required Certifications: BLS ARRT Must-Have: Experience with hybrid patient types Cath lab experience Description: This position involves working in a surgical room with 28 beds and 2 hybrid rooms. The unit handles 60-75 cases per day. Patient types include outpatient, inpatient, and trauma cases. Common cases include gunshot wounds, stabbings, kidney and heart transplants, donor cases, general, gynecological, urology, robotic, vascular, orthopedic, and neuro surgeries. The hybrid room typically sees between 5-10 cases per day, depending on scheduled cases. Only adult patients are managed. Specific procedures include TAVR, AAA, endarterectomies, angiograms, and fistula revisions. Approximately 20% of cases are pediatric. The unit does not perform liver or lung transplants. Participation in Gifts of Hope cases is expected. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1. Support on the unit includes a charge nurse who has no patient assignment and is available for assistance on weekends and evenings. Bedside monitoring is provided by an anesthesiologist. Other support roles include a resource nurse, educators, service line representatives, and an EPIC super-user. Experience with Siemens equipment is required. Scrub color is provided.
