This is a 13-week night shift assignment, working 3x12s . As a vital part of the interdisciplinary team, the RN will provide high-level care, support recovery goals, and maintain a safe, compassionate environment. Key Responsibilities: Complete thorough nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission Develop and manage individualized care plans Document patient progress, interventions, and responses accurately and on time Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and weekly re-evaluations Educate patients and families throughout the care process Initiate discharge planning on admission and lead patient/family teaching Collaborate with attending physicians and nursing leadership regarding patient care Delegate tasks appropriately to LPNs, CNAs, and support staff Promote a safe work and patient care environment Contribute positively to team morale and unit functioning Provide charge RN duties as assigned Monitor supply usage and contribute to cost-effective care Pursue continued education and maintain clinical competencies Qualifications: Active RN license in Iowa or compact state Minimum of 1 year of acute care, critical care, or LTAC experience preferred BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to assess, plan, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Why Join HumanEdge Health?
