A Level Economics Teacher – Secondary School (Immediate Start) Location: Tower Hamlets, East London Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-Time | Ongoing Supply | Paid via Agency Pay: £180 – £250 per day (dependent on experience) Tag: INDPEQ We’re working with a high-achieving secondary school and sixth form in Tower Hamlets that is seeking a dedicated A Level Economics Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a full-time role, offering the opportunity to teach motivated post-16 students in a supportive and academically focused environment. Role Overview: Teach A Level Economics to KS5 students, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons Plan and prepare lessons that inspire and challenge high-ability learners Assess, track, and support student progress towards target grades Contribute to departmental meetings, enrichment activities, and wider school life About You: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) or equivalent recognised qualification Experience teaching A Level Economics (or strong knowledge of the AQA/Edexcel specification) Passionate about Economics and dedicated to student success Strong classroom management and communication skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Benefits: £180 – £250 per day, paid weekly via agency Immediate start with potential for long-term or permanent placement Supportive department with excellent resources and leadership Fantastic opportunity to teach motivated and engaged students in a dynamic East London school Apply now with your CV to secure this exciting opportunity as an A Level Economics Teacher in Tower Hamlets, starting ASAP
