The Opportunity As part of their ongoing expansion, the opportunity has arisen to join their team in Daventry Northamptonshire. Working as a key part of the in-house design team, this role is to coordinate product design projects and tasks. The Person We are looking for someone who is very organised, ideally from a product design / engineering background with experience in project management and SolidWorks. Key Duties * Experience checking and approving engineering drawings * Project management and assigning tasks * Ensuring processes are efficient and projects are completed in a timely manner * Sourcing and arranging quotes * Product management – Testing. Certification. Intellectual property. Data. QC. Compliance. * Collaborating with product design team members and sales team on projects * Provide product support to colleagues and customers Requirements * From a product design / mechanical / engineering background with project management / coordination skills, ideally with SolidWorks experience * Excellent team working and communication skills * Must be able to use initiative, suggest ideas and improvements to products * Self-motivated, organised multi-tasker that enjoys a varied workload * A good understanding of product design and manufacturing processes * Excellent spelling and grammar with a meticulous attention to detail * Competent using PCs and Windows Desirable but Non-Essential Skills * Experience with sheet metal / fabrications * Previous experience with a PDM system (training given) Benefits * Loyalty schemes * Health cash care scheme * Free parking on site This is an excellent opportunity to progress with an established, reputable and growing company.
