Position Details Job Title: Principal Consultant - Client Delivery Location: Vancouver/Toronto, Canada (Hybrid) Job Type - Full Time Job Summary: The Principal Consultant is a senior member of the Delivery team and is accountable for managing programs of work for one or many of Intellect’s customers. The Principal Consultant will be responsible for leading a team of project managers. Responsibilities Responsible for leading multiple projects managers, and ensures holistic end-to-end views of the customers are considered and programs/projects are delivered with pace and quality. Works closely with leaders in other departments (e.g. product, engineering and support) to ensure customer programs and projects are moving forward through the delivery stream. Consults with customers on their desired implementation needs and ensures the team is addressing those needs. Responsible for planning and the delivery roadmap for an individual or group of customers, generating the necessary collateral including product implementation roadmaps and tactical deployment recommendations Qualifications A university degree in computer science, engineering, business, or other related discipline with an IT focus. Minimum 10 years relevant experience and preferably minimum 8 years consulting experience. Minimum 10 years of managing, leading and developing high performance teams. Financial Services background is preferred, especially in digital, online banking platforms technology services. Business analysis and Project Management work experience. CBAP or PMP designation is an asset. Ability to think strategically, conceptually, and analytically. Ability to prioritize and set clear direction and expectations, keep team members focused on the right priorities in a matrix environment, build excellent team relationships and foster a sense of urgency and dedication to delivering on commitments. Exceptional problem solving, planning, organizational and time management skills. Ability to communicate effectively and strategically both orally and in writing with customers, technical teams and other co-workers, work to schedules, and adapt easily to changing priorities and business needs. Excellent customer management skills specifically working with the C-level executives Ability to provide leadership and mentorship, and manage multiple resources on projects with conflicting deadlines in a team environment. Highly developed business acumen. Note: The salary range provided is indicative.
