Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,320 to $2,634 per week in Pittsfield, MA

Position Summary The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to clients in an inpatient setting. This role includes the provision of direct patient care, collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, and active participation in the development and implementation of comprehensive patient care plans. The therapist will utilize rehabilitation equipment, therapeutic modalities, and assistive devices to support patient recovery and independence. Key Responsibilities Deliver physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and patient goals. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify patient care plans. Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, safe mobility, and the use of assistive devices. Operate and instruct patients in the use of rehabilitation equipment, including splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, ADL equipment, and modalities. Accurately document patient assessments, treatment interventions, progress notes, and discharge plans in Meditech Expanse (preferred). Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, patient safety protocols, and organizational policies. Promote functional independence and overall quality of life for patients through evidence-based therapeutic practices.
