Opportunity: RN - ED Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts • Work every other weekend • No on-call responsibilities • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required, preferably in at least Level 3 Trauma Center • Provide care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care planning • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education • Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience • Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care • Hold shift accountability for safe delivery of patient care in Emergency Department • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH • Must work in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures Facility: This medical center operates a comprehensive Emergency Department providing critical care services to the community.
